Agua Nueva agate pendant
Agua Nueva agate pendant
This captivating handcrafted pendant is all about the Agua Nueva agate which is found in the Agua Nueva Creek area in Chihuahua, Mexico. This particular round semi-translucent cabochon called to me for it has been beautifully cut to show pinky-lavender and white hues in its banded formation resembling the flow of water. I have cut an open back to allow even more light to show through it making the wonderful patterns and almost crystallised veins visible from the front and back. A hand punched leaf pattern adorns the edge of the sterling silver surround and a chunky bail sits on the top to allow sterling silver rings to hold the chain. Comes with either a sterling silver 16" or 18" chain (please DM at the time of purchase - 16" chain will be supplied if the length is not selected at the time of the order). The leaf pattern has been slightly oxidised an then polished to accentuate the texture.
