This beautiful piece of blue and white sea glass is called a "multi" and is synonymous with the region of Seaham in North East England, where I found it on a wonderful family holiday. Multi sea glass or "end of day glass" is essentially waste glass coming from the factories which produced decorative glass pieces in the Victorian age. This piece has been perfectly frosted by the North Sea over many, many years and sits snugly in a slightly domed oval setting which has been textured using a hammer and punch. A plain sterling silver ring band makes this ring very comfortable to wear and the ideal understated statement piece.
