This ring has been handcrafted using traditional silversmithing skills and tools. Sterling silver and fine silver have been worked together to create a setting for a perfect dendritic agate stone. Dendritic agate is a type of chalcedony with inclusions mimicking that of the branches of a tree. These dendrites are a mixture of manganese or iron oxide minerals that were trapped inside the stone when the agate formed.

Five sterling silver discs decorate one end of a rectangular surround. The ring shank is a simple sterling silver round band. This has an open backed setting to allow more light to shine through the agate.
